Langford Nurseries & Garden Centre is situated in Langford, a picturesque village in the heart of Bedfordshire. It is approximately 2 miles from the A1 and can be easily accessed from most areas.
Langford Nurseries was opened in 1971 by Keith Hichisson
to grow trees and shrubs from seeds and cuttings that
were to be sold to the trade. Keith was trained at the University Botanic Garden Cambridge. In early 1973 Keith took on a business partner, Rae Roberts.Rae had been working in a nearby nursery that grew flowering pot plants. In 1974 Keith and Rae applied for planning permission to build a garden centre, they were successful and Langford Garden Centre was opened and has steadily developed into the centre that it is today. The nursery still grows most of the plants that we sell.
